Step Description

General Protocol Parameters

From the menu shown in Step 5, navigate to Protocol Definition Æ General

Parameters. Configure the parameters as described below.

 For the Enable Early Media field, select Enabled. If enabled, the MP-118

sends Session Description Protocol (SDP) information in the 18x responses

allowing the media stream to be set-up prior to answering the call.

 If fax support is needed, select T.38 Relay as the Fax Signaling Method.

 Select No for the Use “user=phone” in SIP URL field.

Default values may be retained for all other fields. Scroll down to the bottom of the

page and click Submit (not shown).
